I wonder how many people who read this blog, know about the Woman’s Rurals. I certainly did not before I started giving talks on the work of EMP. Women who live in rural areas, gather once a month to talk and to share skills and crafts.
I was asked along to Carnbo Rural near Kinross to give my usual talk on EMP.
There was a huge box of delightful new pants and a generous donation of £100. This money will go so far. Once again I was bowled over by the kindness and generosity of sympathetic women. If we were to put ourselves in the place of “The Mothers”, it isn’t a huge leap of imagination to know that we would find their situation intolerable. The Buccama Mothers could teach us all about patience and stoicism. They are tough and patient which make us even more determined to help them.
Thank you Carnbo Ladies.
